I can’t believe the Mission Impossible franchise allowed Etsy to use this signature theme. Bad move for both enterprises.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. The decision to incorporate the Mission Impossible theme into an Etsy advert is indeed a surprising one. While it might seem like a mismatch at first glance, it could also be viewed as a creative risk that challenges conventional marketing norms. This approach might not be universally acclaimed, but it certainly sparks conversation.
I love these ads. They are memorable and creative. The Mission Impossible theme works as the impossible mission of buying for those people “almost” impossible! The use of the theme music overlaid with how people think as they add their own words, brill. I find the video quality excellent, the cutaways perfectly timed, and the ordinary raised to cinema level. As a viewer of TV who mutes the commercials as they are usually too loud and abrasive, I always turn on these ads when they pop up. I come from a marketing ad agency background, and know great work when I see it. keep up the “mission… possible!”
