Nike: Unlimited Together

After the hilarious “Unlimited You” commercial, Wieden+Kennedy creates for Nike “Unlimited Together” commercial, a tribute to USA Basketball team. The film was directed by Hiro Murai and athletes DeMarcus Cousins, Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant, Carmelo Anthony, Paul George, Jimmy Butler, Draymond Green, Harrison Barnes, DeAndre Jordan, Klay Thompson, DeMar DeRozan, Kyle Lowry, Elena Delle Donne, Maya Moore, Tamika Catchings, Sue Bird, Diana Taurasi, Brittney Griner, Seimone Augustus, Angel McCoughtry, Breanna Stewart Tina Charles, Sylvia Fowles and Lindsay Whalen

The spot celebrates how the USA Basketball men’s and women’s teams’ individual strengths are amplified when unified in pursuit of a common goal. Featuring original lyrics from artist Chance the Rapper (an American hip hop recording artist from the West Chatham neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois), the ad is part of Nike’s larger “Unlimited Campaign,” which includes the “Unlimited You,” “Unlimited Future” and “Unlimited Courage” films, and extends to its recent series of athlete shorts. The song name of Nike commercial is “We the People.”

The campaign hails both the everyday athletes and the champion athletes who push their limits daily — and who are poised to prove their unlimited potential this summer on the world’s largest stages.

Fact: Nike hires Danny Clinch (music photographer) to shoot the official Olympics USA Basketball team photo to include both the male and female members.

Our Nike Unlimited Campaign celebrates both the everyday athletes and the champion athletes who push their limits daily and who are proving their unlimited potential, whether that’s on the world’s greatest stage this summer, or just in a pickup game in the park,” said Greg Hoffman, Nike Chief Marketing Officer. “The USA Basketball teams are an amazing example of athletes who come together to pursue their goals for their team and their country.
