Directed by Jesper Ohlsson through Chapel Films, the new PETA advert features a gorilla trapped in a zoo listening to the headphones of an old walkman.
The gorilla that stars in PETA’s commercial was generated entirely by a computer by a Swedish animation studio specialized in CGI FABLEfx and the shoot was done in Stockholm.
At the end of the commercial we find out that the Cozy the gorilla listening to the Queen song “I want to break free.” and read the message “In zoos, apes can only dream of freedom”
