Saatchi & Saatchi creates the Tide Super Bowl LV Commercial. The Tide’s advert features Jason Alexander, best known for his role as George Costanza in the television series Seinfeld. Now he said, “Hey, that’s my face!”

I was glad to see that Tide chose to advertise with Jason Alexander. I liked George Costanza. Unfortunately, the comedian appears only at the end of the commercial in an exchange of remarks that seems forced. Instead, we see his face on a plain T-shirt throughout the spot. I missed a reply like “You know I always wanted to pretend I was an architect.”

The message is funny: “Do you know what you put your clothes through today? Of course not! No one thinks about that! So when Tide asked me, a Jason Alexander hoodie, to be in their Super Bowl commercial I said, “Absolutely! Let’s show America how much dirt is hidden in their favorite clothing items.”

Little did I know everything I would be put through. Thankfully, I was washed in Tide Hygienic Clean in the end, which is designed to clean down to the microscopic level to remove both visible and invisible dirt.

Moral of the story:

1) Take care of your clothes with Tide Hygienic Clean

2) When you’re a humanoid hoodie asked to be in a Super Bowl commercial, be sure to read the script first.

Jason Alexander said about Tide Super Bowl 2021 commercial “I am so excited to partner with Tide because they have had some iconic Super Bowl commercials in recent years. In this year’s commercial, we really wanted to have fun with the idea that your clothes – like my character, the hoodie – go through a lot and you don’t even realize it!”
