Skechers Super Bowl Advert 2025: Andy Reid’s Surprising Side Hustle in 12th Big Game Appearance
Skechers—the third-largest footwear brand worldwide, boasting over $8 billion in annual sales—has locked in its spot for Super Bowl LIX, making it the first brand confirmed for the 2025 event. This marks the company’s 12th time advertising in the Big Game, following past hits featuring Mr. T, Tony Romo, Snoop Dogg, and Martha Stewart.
Andy Reid Returns for a Shot at Three-Peat Glory
The Skechers Super Bowl advert 2025, set to air during the FOX broadcast on February 9, stars Kansas City Chiefs Head Coach Andy Reid, who steered his team to back-to-back championships. This year’s commercial reveals Reid in a hilariously unexpected side hustle—one aided by the convenience of Skechers Hands Free Slip-ins. The 30-second spot, produced in-house by SKX Studios, brings together Reid’s no-nonsense football persona and Skechers’ ongoing push into performance footwear.
“I’m a no-nonsense football guy who needs everything around me to be easy,” Reid explained. “These Skechers Hands Free Slip-ins have made my routine quicker and easier. Best of all they give me time to focus on my second career that you’ll see in my first commercial for Skechers!”

The Perfect Venue for Skechers’ Growing Performance Category
According to Michael Greenberg, president of Skechers, tapping Andy Reid was a strategic move that underscores the brand’s growing influence in the athletic realm—particularly as it explores innovative footwear for soccer, basketball, and more. With Reid potentially coaching for a third consecutive championship, the synergy between “three decades of Skechers” and a possible three-peat is an intriguing narrative.
“We’re diving deeper into the performance world,” says Greenberg. “Andy proves there are endless possibilities when you go hands-free with Skechers Slip-ins!”
