Louis Vuitton unveiled a 3D billboard with animated motifs from inside a polka-dotted Louis Vuitton trunk. Through this campaign, Yayoi Kusama invites viewers into her magical world that unravels from the Shinjuku building in Tokyo.

Yayoi Kusama (born March 22, 1929, in Matsumoto, Japan) is a Japanese artist who was a self-described “obsessional artist” known for her extensive use of polka dots and her infinity installations.

Ten years after the first collaboration, Yayoi Kusama’s symbolic objects, hypnotic motifs, and imaginings of infinity take over Maison’s emblems, creating magical objects that transcend time and space. First revealed on the Cruise 2023 runway, this year’s collaboration brings not only the artist’s signature dots to the Monogram canvas but also explores a wide range of recurring themes.
