Duracell: Christmas is chaos – 2017 Christmas Advert – full version

The Duracell 2017 Christmas Advert was created by the advertising agency Wieden+Kennedy, New York and it features the song “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas” by Bing Crosby. The slogan is “Trust Is Power” and the marketing story of the campaign is “When Santa forgets the trusted power of Duracell batteries, it’s chaos for Christmas.”

The advert should be funny but the viewers’ comments aren’t nice about it. Starting with “This is one of the worst Christmas ad ever.” to “I Love Christmas But I Don’t Love Duracell”

Mark Milburn, the young Santa from the Duracell commercial, said: “Don’t worry, you will still get presents… but NuSanta ain’t riding in no sleigh ???? Had such a blast shooting this add for @duracell. The kids who played the elves were so funny and kind and it was such a positive and rewarding experience.”

  1. This is the worst commercial i have ever seen. Duracel is terrible. It would frighten children and it has no Christmas spirit.

  2. This a horrible commercial and a VERY poor effort at being funny. Who ever thought they could copy the Scrooged story failed miserably.
