Axe is a brand of male grooming products owned by the British company Unilever and marketed toward the younger male demographic. For trademark reasons, Axe is called Lynx in the UK and a few other countries.
The “Axe Effect” is one of the most famous claims in the advertising world. A few years ago, Axe dropped its old advertising strategy, but now they decide to test the naughty jokes and parade of women again.
The music from those two new Axe commercials “The New Axe Effect” is the song “Crumbs,” by Melbourne-based artist Jordan Dennis.
Not as funny as old ones.
