Waze, Google-owned navigation app, release a commercial to promote the Waze Ads. the film features a tube man that lost his job due to the new Waze Ads. His story is heartbreaking and the Waze service is made responsible for his hard life.
Even though at the end of the Tube Man movie he rebuilds his career, the negative sentiment of the viewer remains on Waze Ads.
The marketing message is ” Traditional advertising only takes you so far. For your business to thrive, you need smarter ways to connect with people that are on the go and close to you. “
