GEICO: Barber Shop featuring Tiki Barber

The new GEICO funny commercial was created by the advertising agency The Martin Agency Inc. and it features Tiki Barber. Named Tiki’s Barber Shop: It’s Not Surprising, the advert promotes GEICO Car Insurance. The GEICO commercial is part of “Surprising” campaign. Debuted in 2016, these ads depict celebrities or historical figures in outlandish situations.

Atiib Kiambu Hakeem-Ah “Tiki” Barber (born April 7, 1975) is a former American football running back who played for the New York Giants of the National Football League (NFL) for ten seasons. He played college football at the University of Virginia. Barber was drafted by the Giants in the second round of the 1997 NFL Draft, and played his entire professional career for them. Tiki Barber first entered the NFL in 1997 when he was drafted out of the University of Virginia by the New York Giants. Barber played his entire 10-year career with Giants before retiring at the end of 2006 with the franchise’s all-time rushing and reception leader. Following his NFL career, Barber went on to become a correspondent on NBC’s The Today Show and Football Night in America. Tiki also co-hosted the pre-show to the 66th Golden Globe awards and wrote two books: “Tiki: My Life and the Game Beyond” and “Tiki Barber’s Pure Hard Workout”.
