Argos: Christmas Yetis (Extended Version)
In this commercial
Argos unveiled its 2016 Christmas campaign a few days earlier than last year. Directed by Henry Scholfield and produced by Giles Skillicorn, the “Christmas Yetis” commercial was created by advertising agency CHI & Partners. The advert features giant multi-coloured yetis skate the streets with a range of gadgets, toys, and funny furbies. Yetis costumes were made by Animated Extras.
The yetis are Peter Hallam (wearing orange), George Southall (in blue), Adrian Jack (in pink) and Brad Slade (in green) and Kevin McGlynn (in purple).
The background music of the Argos Christmas commercial is a version of “What’s This? (The Nightmare Before Christmas)” by Danny Elfman performed by the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra for this commercial. Music company for the advert is Wake The Town.
The tagline is “Fast Track Same Day delivery and in-store collection.”
Coloured yetis
The advert is funny and full of colors but doesn't resemble the Christmas mood.
