The Apple Christmas advert 2021 was directed by Oscar Nominee Jason Reitman and his father, Oscar Nominee Ivan Reitman. The tagline is “
A story for everyone who can’t wait for the holidays to get here.” and it was shot on iPhone 13 Pro.
The background music is “You and I” by Valerie June.
It is surprising that the Apple Christmas ad does not contain any Apple products. The only reference to the product is that the ad was filmed with an iPhone 13 Pro.
The advertisement is made with the theme from the Apple Christmas 2019 advertisement (snowbrawl) but the atmosphere and style remind me more of the Apple Christmas 2013 advertisement (Misunderstood).
The Apple Christmas advert 2021 has also a funny and unexpected twist in the end.
