HSBC: Discover stories from the lift

Part of It’s Never Just Business campaign Grey London‘s new commercial for HSBC UK is about business’ ups and downs on its way to the top. In 60 seconds of the commercial HSBC travels 40 years in an elevator ride. I like how this commercial fit a deep story into 60 s. The tagline is “But no matter where you are on the journey, HSBC could help.”

The beautiful music is the song “Comptine d’un autre été – l’après midi”, a piece that appears on Yann Tiersen‘s soundtrack to the French movie Amelie (2001) and it fits the ad very well. This HSBC commercial was directed by Gary Freedman of The Glue Society through Independent films.
