Tesco unveiled its Christmas advert in 2020. The funny ad was created by the advertising agency Bartle Bogle Hegarty London and directed by Raine Allen-Miller through Somesuch. The question of the ad is “What if I’m on the naughty list?” The Tesco answer is simple: “Relax. After this year, Tesco says there is no naughty list…”
So, the message is “After a year like this, we believe there is no naughty list. So go on Britain, treat yourself to the best Christmas ever.”
The soundtrack is the song Oops!… I Did It Again by Britney Spears. The comedian Asim Chaudhry is the voice-over of the Tesco advert.
