The father-son theme is used to add a little melodrama. This is also the case for the Heineken advertisement named obviously “Father and Son”.
The message is simple: ” Keke and Nico Rosberg. Father & Son. Both F1 World Champions competing each other in everyday life, just to prove who’s better and see who will get to drive… Only to find out that the better driver is always the one who doesn’t drink. “
The positioning of the brand is good, but after seeing the commercial I do not feel the desire to drink a beer.
